The Optometrists Board of Queensland is the body responsible for the registration of Optometrist in Queensland. Before a person in Queensland may practice as, or hold themselves out to be, an Optometrist, he or she must first register with the Board.

The Board is the statutory authority established to enact the provisions of the Optometrists Registration Act 2001, Optometrists Registration Regulation 2001 and the Health Practitioners (Professional Standards) Act 1999.
