This is the protocol and list of drugs for Therapeutic use by Optometrists as approved by the Board on 28 June 2005.

Please be advised that the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996 has now been amended to have an Optometrist Drug Authority Committee to be the body responsible for the ongoing approval of the protocol and lists of drugs. The current approvals issued by the Board will stand.
